Spotify launches new feature that unites music and chat

Spotify announced, this Wednesday (18), its new modality 'Music + Chat' in Brazil . The tool was created in 2020 and promises to unite musical tracks complete with spoken commentary, as a kind of enhanced playlist.

In addition to Brazil, the function will reach 14 other countries, namely: Germany, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Philippines, France, Netherlands, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Sweden.

According to music streaming , the 'Music + Chat' feature is one of the most requested by podcasters and song lovers. With the new tool, artists and content producers will be able to create audios about their favorite productions, making a kind of episode that mixes the two worlds.

The company informs that it will not be necessary to leave the music or podcast page to find more information about it, everything is available as a playlist , facilitating the user experience.

Creators will be able to create content for online chats using the library of over 70 million tracks available on Spotify. The function will be possible through Anchor.
